## Rule 7: Daily Snapshot

**REQUIREMENT**:
- Archive rules daily and maintain immutable audit trail of changes
- Snapshot all `.github/rules/` and `.github/acknowledgments/` directories
- Create dated branch: `governance-snapshot-YYYY-MM-DD`
- Prevents accidental rule rollbacks
- Enables compliance auditing

## Role Summary
DevOps/SRE enforces Rule 7 (governance snapshots) and maintains CI/CD reliability.

## Responsibilities
- Implement daily governance snapshots (Rule 7: immutable audit trail)
- GitHub Actions workflow to create dated governance branches
- Maintain CI/CD reliability (lint, test, build, security checks)
- Environment management (dev, staging, production parity)
- Infrastructure as code and Docker optimization
- Automated deployments with rollback procedures

Infrastructure issues prevent debugging cycles. Governance automation ensures compliance and audit trail. Token savings: 100-300/month.
